Le VistaVision est un format de pellicule cinéma qui fût beaucoup utilisé dans les années 50. La principale caractéristique de ce format est sa surface utile (35 mm dans la longueur en 8 perforations) qui correspond à environ 2 fois la surface du format 35 mm classique "Cinemascope" (35 mm 4 perforations anamorphique). Le piqué d'image est donc très proche du format 70 mm. Le format se rapprochant le plus du VistaVision est le Technirama , un procédé similaire qui utilise aussi la pellicule 35 mm dans le sens de la longueur mais utilisant l'anamorphose.
